Scitech is coming to Northam!

Picture

The Shire of Northam and Wheatbelt Science Hub are bringing Scitech to Northam these school holidays! Over ten brand new exhibits will be located in the former butchers shop, Fitzgerald Street, from the 18th-22nd of January 2016.  Entry is free and the shop will be open noon- 4pm Monday and 11am- 4pm Tuesday- Friday.

This is a unique opportunity for Northam and surrounding communities to enjoy a hands-on, engaging and educational activity that is suitable for all ages. Wheatbelt Science Hub are encouraging people to visit more than once during week to get the most learning value from the activities.

A competition is being run to win an exclusive one hour session for the winner and up to twelve guests. As well as having the first hour of Scitech in Northam to themselves (11am-noon Monday 18th January), they will also enjoy light refreshments at Cafe Yasou located over the road. To enter tell us in 25 words or less why science matters to you. Fill in the online entry form and read further details here.
